ARLINGTON – A Lamar High School teacher found herself in hot water Wednesday after the parents of a sophomore student contacted Superintendent Jerry McCullough, alleging that a teacher made inappropriate and politically charged remarks in her classroom.
ARLINGTON – Of the seven sitting council members, only two maintain websites: Jimmy Bennett (D7) and Robert Rivera (D3). Perhaps the complacency is due to low voter turnout for local races. ARLINGTON--The Arlington Police Department arrested a suspect today in the fatal shooting of an Arlington man. Kelly Jerome Upton, 44, is being held in the Arlington City Jail and facing a murder charge for the shooting death of Roland C. Tucker, 31 of Arlington. Bail is set at $500,000.
